Lol, this show. Can’t wait for the new season.
Reblog if you’re a cuddler.
I need to rant.
I absolutely loath the new catchphrases going around. When people need to make a decision, they’ll shout out “YOLO!” We rate each other on how much “swag” we got, and if someone did something extraordinary, “Oh, that shit cray!”
I hate those the most, because I think they just bastardize the English language.
Yes, we live only once, but did we need Drake to tell us that? Seriously, that’s how you realize you only have one life? Did you think we’re cats with nine? It’s not “swag” you want to get, you want to have “class” and “dignity.” “Swag is for children, class is for men.” And seriously, “cray?” We’re so lazy, we use acronyms like “LOL” in text (AND speech), but we’re getting to the point that an extra syllable is too much. Oh, I’m sorry, I meant “syllble.”
On a side note, I also hate the term “friendzone.” It waters down the value and meaning of friendship. It’s like, “Oh we’re friends, but I’ll take that for granted and want something more.” There’s nothing wrong with wanting more, but to carelessly disregard what you do have is selfish and stupid. I learned the hard way how much friends and friendship is worth.
I’ll give you this much: if you use it just to press my buttons, fine. If you use it in your daily speech, you are just simple-minded. Do us a favor, and please stay silent.
I’m just sitting here, listening to Russian Circles’ new album Empros. I can’t believe I didn’t know they had a new album. It’s gonna be A LOT of Russian Circles for the near future; I gotta catch up on Geneva and Station.
I learned how to play “It’s Nice to Know You Work Alone” by Silversun Pickups! Solo still needs work though.
This is so heart-melty. Showing this to my dad for Father’s Day.
